What's the "South Central Region" anyway?

Over the course of the last two years Episcopalians from around Connecticut have met, prayed, and talked about how the Church might better serve the wider community and how we might meet the challenges of the 21st century. One of the many ideas that came from these conversations (known as TREC-ECCT) was to group ourselves into six regions - agile communities that follow the highways and rivers of Connecticut.

The South Central Region (SC) covers the land between Milford and Guilford, up from the coast to Cheshire, and along the Naugatuck River from Naugatuck to the coast. Guided by a Region Leadership Team comprised of both lay and ordained members of the body of Christ and with a Region Missionary, the SC region seeks to follow God in this place and this time.

If you are a resident of one of the towns in the SC region, attend an Episcopal Church in the SC region, or are just curious about this whole thing, then YOU are invited to join us for our regular gatherings. We would love to hear from you. How is God calling to you? Where do you see God? How do you share the Good News of God's love to the world?
